9 Month Lock Update | What I am Learning in the Teenage Lock Stage



Hey Mocha Family,

I get a little introspective during this video, but I really wanted to talk about where my hair peace comes from.  I have noticed that once we reach our natural hair goals, and master working with our hair, we can get bored.  I am very familiar with that restless feeling of wanting a change or being tired of the routine and styling patterns we've established.  The flip side may be struggling to ever come to a place of satisfaction with grooming and styling and concluding that natural hair just isn't working.  I'd like to save anyone who is struggling the trouble of making the mistakes I did.  At the end of the day, I prefer my natural hair even when it has meant transitioning and big chopping multiple times.

I'll never forget the first time I saw Mocha Girl One (HmG) . She was an emergency c-section, and had to spend several days in NICU.
